I am feedup of people saying MAJEK is "finished, on drugs or no more
singing". This site is enough proof that HE is live and kicking in America.
Majek was recently in Nigeria perfoming at Lekki and also releasing his
latest album into the Nigerian market. Rita (his wife) and kids (Randy
and Destiny) are also doing fine. So please stop the rumours.

Majek has regular performances in the US. He performs amongst the likes
of Alpha Blondy, Lucky Dube, Finley Quaye, Inner circle and many more.
Majek is also listed to perform in most festivals associate with the African-American

"When the styles are blended together, music can free the world," he says.
"You can check it out in my music. You can feel it in my music. (My
message) is consciousness. To be aware of one's self. The realization of
one's self. That's the message; that's it!"
This will be Fashek's second trip to Colorado; the first was at Reggae on
the Rocks two years ago.
"You know, when I played 'Send Down The Rain' - there was rain," he said
with a laugh, remembering the show. "That is a magical rock. (Colorado) is
a magical place."
